On Friday, October 28, members of the Brookings-Harbor Redshirts gathered at Fred Meyer and met with Matt Galli, Store Director. Fred Meyer Corporate wanted to help the Redshirts with their Christmas program this year and donated 40 portable DVD players to be sent to our troops. They will go to the NATO MM3 Multi-National Hospital and the 10th Combat Support Hospital at Camp Dwyer, both in Afghanistan. Our wish is for these portable DVD players to be used by our wounded warriors first, while recuperating from their injuries. Secondly, they will help provide some entertainment for our troops during their down time. Thank you Fred Meyer and thank you to Matt Galli for organizing everything for us and making it possible.
